Backups And Tune-Ups

Be Safe and Reliable

What would you do if your hard drive suddenly died and you had no backup? You would lose EVERYTHING. Family photos, school papers, music, all your programs, and all your settings. That can be devastating. Make sure you have a backup of all your important data. Let me give you a full system backup and then show you how to keep your data safe. I will never purposely view your data. What is on your hard drive is your business, and anything seen accidentally while performing a backup or maintenance is completely private.

Tune Ups are very simple in computers. Get rid of unneeded software, clean the Windows registry, Clean the actual computer of dust and things that may block the vents, Re-seat the processor and replace thermal paste, and several other small jobs that can increase speed and performance. This is usually a courtesy service that is thrown in with other jobs.

Service Price Description and Benefits
Backup (HDD to HDD) $50 If you have a second hard drive, or an external hard drive, I can backup your entire system to that. This will give you an image file that can be used to restore the system in the event of a hard drive failure. This service includes a quick tune-up.
Restore (HDD to HDD) $20 If you need help restoring the data back from one of my images, just give me a call and I will get it done. However, you should be able to do this on your own. When doing the backup I will leave a pretty detailed set of instructions on how to restore the data when necessary.
Backup (HDD to DVD) $70 If you don't have another hard drive, or anywhere to put the image, I can create a restore DVD that can be put into your DVD drive. When the computer starts, it will read this DVD and ask you if you want to restore the drive back to the state it was when I backed it up. This will override all data, but will put the system back the way it was. This includes a full tune-up.
Total Security! $100 This is a complete system backup. The image will be stored in 4 places, for peace of mind. You will be responsible for keeping the image on a second hard drive and on the Restore DVD (but in the event you lose both of these). I will keep the image in two locations, myself. It will be kept on two separate hard drives or on a hard drive and a DVD. I will keep this image for a minimum of 1 year. It will be safe and secure, assuring that no one can view any of it's content. In the event that both of your images are destroyed, give me a call and I will get you a new Restore DVD to solve the problem. This is as safe as it gets, the odds of four locations being destroyed simultaneously are astronomical.
